Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Hold a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, (Medical) Physics, Bio(medical) Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or expected to obtain it by the start date.
  • Demonstrate outstanding academic results.
  • Knowledge of medical imaging, particularly MRI, and quantitative MRI (diffusion, relaxometry, etc.).
  • Hold a FELASA certificate or willing to obtain one.
  • Experience in multi-modal quantitative MRI or other in vivo imaging modalities, programming skills (e.g., C/C++, Python, MATLAB), and prior MRI acquisition & image processing experience are advantageous.
  • Research qualities aligned with faculty and university research policies.
  • Ability to work independently, creatively, and efficiently with attention to quality and integrity.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills in English.

Description:

The successful candidate will focus on the acquisition, processing, curation, and modeling of quantitative MRI data of healthy mice and mice models for neurodegeneration. They will participate in international conferences, publish scientific articles, and actively contribute to the preparation and defense of a PhD thesis.
