- Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree in materials science, chemistry, or similar, or an equivalent foreign degree obtained by the time of employment decision.
- Three or less years since obtaining the PhD degree, with possible extensions under specific circumstances.
- Broad and deep expertise in CVD, both theoretical and practical, demonstrated through a strong track record of publications in the field.
- Excellent proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Job Description:
- Conduct research in the area of thin-film growth using CVD, with a particular focus on developing and characterizing processes for CVD of carbonitrides and oxides.
- Supervise thesis students and collaborate with industrial partners.
- Engage in internal collaborations, including with doctoral candidates, and contribute to the future development of the department’s CVD research activities.
