Eligibility/Qualification:
- Excellent MSc in science, preferably in microbiology, molecular microbiology, microbial ecology, biotechnology, or a related field
- Experience in microbial ecology, microbiology, metabolomics, or molecular microbiology
- Theoretical background valued but the project will primarily be experimental
- Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented working style
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Personal motivation and curiosity in addressing relevant questions in microbial ecology
Job Description:
- Plan and execute experiments as outlined with the group leader
- Analyze and interpret collected data
- Contribute to teaching duties such as organizing and supervising student practical exercises
- Write publications and present work in lab meetings, departmental seminars, and at conferences
- Engage in the general life and collaborative environment of the Department of Fundamental Microbiology
