Qualifications: Applicants must hold a two-year master’s degree or its equivalent with academic experience in materials science, chemistry, or related fields. Ideal candidates will have expertise in areas such as fuel cells, electrolysis, electronics/power electronics, data-acquisition, materials characterization, or electrochemistry. Proficiency in English, innovation, responsibility, and the ability to work independently and in teams are essential qualities.
Job Description:
- Conduct advanced electrochemical characterization of solid oxide cells under various operation conditions using current-voltage characteristics and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.
- Develop and upgrade solid oxide cell test setups for advanced electrochemical characterization.
- Test solid oxide cells under different operation conditions and analyze the effects of operational parameters on cell durability.
- Perform microstructure characterization on tested cells and correlate any changes to electrochemical test results.
