Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in physics, optics, lasers, or related fields
  • Proficiency in experimental optics, lasers, and fiber optics
  • Familiarity with theoretical physics and numerical modeling (Matlab or Python)
  • Excellent English communication skills; knowledge of French is beneficial
  • Enthusiasm for collaborative work in multidisciplinary settings

Job Description:

  • Conduct advanced scientific research in photonics, specializing in designing state-of-the-art ultra-stable supercontinuum sources
  • Develop next-generation polarization-maintaining optical fibers for supercontinuum generation spanning 0.6 µm to 1.4 µm
  • Work towards creating supercontinuum-seeded optical parametric sources through optical parametric amplification and direct difference frequency generation
