Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in plant biology or a relevant discipline
- Strong publication record
- Expertise in molecular biology, genetics, and/or biochemistry
- Background in membrane transport, plant cell biology, or plant-fungal interactions is advantageous
Job Description:
The successful candidates will work on two postdoctoral positions:
- Investigating the genetic program for endosymbiosis with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi.
- Studying phosphate transporters and molecular mechanisms regulating symbiotic maintenance.
The research will be conducted in association with Medicago truncatula and Brachypodium distachyon using a combination of genetics, genomics, biochemistry, and cell imaging approaches.
