Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, material science, physical chemistry, or related field.
- Hands-on experimental experience in electrochemistry.
- Proficient in material characterization techniques.
- Strong team player with a collaborative and proactive mindset.
- Fluency in English with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Immediate availability.
Job Description:
- Investigate electrocatalytic materials for reducing carbonate and nitrate to valuable C-N products.
- Collaborate with a diverse team in exploring electrolyzer implementation for high current densities.
- Utilize expertise in electrocatalytic conversions within the ICONIC project.
- Have the opportunity to publish in scientific literature and present findings to the public.
- Work at the Process & Energy department of the Mechanical Engineering faculty under Dr. Ruud Kortlever’s guidance.
