Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, material science, physical chemistry, or related field.
  • Hands-on experimental experience in electrochemistry.
  • Proficient in material characterization techniques.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative and proactive mindset.
  • Fluency in English with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Immediate availability.

Job Description:

  • Investigate electrocatalytic materials for reducing carbonate and nitrate to valuable C-N products.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team in exploring electrolyzer implementation for high current densities.
  • Utilize expertise in electrocatalytic conversions within the ICONIC project.
  • Have the opportunity to publish in scientific literature and present findings to the public.
  • Work at the Process & Energy department of the Mechanical Engineering faculty under Dr. Ruud Kortlever’s guidance.
