The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new diagnostics, treatments, and vaccines against malaria, tuberculosis, schistosomiasis, Chagas, and other neglected tropical diseases.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- MSc degree in chemistry, pharmacy, biology, or similar, with an interest in a multidisciplinary work environment
- Hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS and the development of analytical methods
- Interest in parasitology and work in rodents
- Excellent laboratory skills
- Self-motivated and career-oriented with strong communication skills in English (written and verbal); French and/or German is an asset
- Well organized, enthusiastic, and initiative-driven personality
Job Description:
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing a sensitive, selective, and rapid liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) method for the analysis of the drug
- Conducting pharmacokinetic studies with different doses and treatment regimens in mice, humanized mice, and hamsters
- Assisting with pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic modeling
- Conducting combination chemotherapy studies with the lead candidate and other antischistosomal drugs
