Eligibility/Qualification:
- Must hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Computational Chemistry, or a related field
- Demonstrated expertise in computational methods including structure- and ligand-based design, conformational analysis, and data mining
- Proficiency in Python, R, and Unix-like operating systems; knowledge of databases and SQL advantageous
- Familiarity with AI/ML, AlphaFold, and molecular dynamics is a plus
- At least 1 year of relevant research experience in an academic or research institution
- Service-focused mindset and team science qualities are essential
Job Description:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on drug discovery projects
- Provide specialized computational chemistry support tailored to project needs
- Contribute to developing innovative computational methods, including AI/ML applications
- Perform structure- and ligand-based drug design, conformational analysis, and data mining
- Engage in small-molecule screening and hit to chemical probe optimization
- Establish and offer small-molecule profiling services, including Cell Painting, in disease models
