Job Description:
The Postdoctoral Fellow will be involved in the analyses of empirical datasets for a new NSF grant, working in collaboration with the University of Tennessee. The role includes initiating new projects related to morphological evolution, diversification, and molecular evolution of plants based on previous experience and lab resources. The primary project involves applying phylogenetic comparative approaches to understand how needle traits of pines vary in response to environmental factors, as well as applying predictive modeling to reveal the dominance of biophysical traits. The position also encompasses participation in outreach activities and working in a collaborative environment.
