Postdoctoral in Iodine Chemistry Modelling: The Department of Atmospheric Chemistry and Climate (AC2) is currently seeking applications for a postdoctoral position in atmospheric iodine chemistry modelling. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on advancing the understanding of global atmospheric iodine chemistry using the chemistry-climate WACCM model.

Eligibility/Qualification
  • PhD or equivalent in relevant fields such as atmospheric chemistry, climate, physics, or Earth system models
  • Proficient in English communication (oral and written)
  • Interest in atmospheric chemistry, climate, and atmospheric dynamics
  • Preference for experience in Fortran 90, parallel computation frameworks, global/regional circulation models, or chemistry-climate models

Job Description:

  • Utilize the chemistry-climate WACCM model to study global atmospheric iodine chemistry
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance atmospheric chemistry-climate modelling
  • Contribute to further model development
  • Disseminate research results in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences
