Postdoctoral Fellow Position at Hunter Lab: The Hunter Lab at Northwestern University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow to contribute to innovative research in sustainable processes. Research Area:
- Sustainable processes, including solar-driven seawater splitting
- Electrochemical nitrogen fixation and CO2 reduction
- Selective hydrocarbon oxidation
- Synthesis and characterization of molecular and heterogeneous photo/electrocatalysts
Location: Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, USA
Eligibility/Qualification:
- Expertise in inorganic and materials chemistry
- Experience in synthesis and characterization of photo/electrocatalysts is encouraged
- A working knowledge of on-line product detection is desirable but not required
Job Description:
The selected candidate will engage in research projects that align with their background and the lab’s focus on sustainable processes. The role includes the synthesis and characterization of innovative molecular and heterogeneous catalysts. Candidates should be prepared to collaborate and explore areas of mutual interest.
