Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in Organic, Inorganic, Dendrimer/Polymer Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Expertise in dendrimer/polymer synthesis, drug conjugation, peptide/antibody chemistry, linker chemistry, and drug delivery systems.
  • Proficiency in modern purification techniques, chromatography, and mass spectrometry.
  • Experience working with both small (~100 pg) and large (~10-50 g) quantities of materials.
  • Excellent collaboration, writing, and communication skills.

Job Description:
The selected candidates will work with the Kannan group at CNM in collaboration with researchers across multiple departments at Johns Hopkins Medicine. The research focuses on developing multi-functional nanodevices for cell-targeted drug and gene delivery, particularly in ophthalmology, anesthesiology, neuroscience, and neurosurgery. Candidates will contribute to projects with significant translational and startup opportunities, working closely with state-of-the-art facilities and advancing clinical translation of dendrimer-based nanomedicine technologies.
