Designation: PhD Student in Polymer Chemistry

Research Area:

  • Develop polycarbonate polymers with dynamic-covalent functionalities for improved recyclability.

Location:

Wageningen University, Netherlands

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Successfully completed MSc degree in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, or related discipline.
  • Strong background in experimental science, organic and/or polymer chemistry, and characterisation techniques.
  • Good analytical skills, creativity, and the ability to work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in English language at C1 level.

Job Description:

  • Integrate dynamic-covalent motifs in polycarbonates.
  • Characterize newly developed polymers and explore their dynamic behavior.
  • Collaborate with partners from different institutions for further material studies and industrial implementation.
