Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Master’s degree in industrial design, interaction design, human-computer interaction, biomedical engineering, or related field
  • Proficiency in English (Dutch proficiency is an asset)
  • Ability to critically engage with design methods, emerging technologies, and diverse stakeholder perspectives
  • Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for transdisciplinary collaboration
  • Self-directed learner with sensitivity to diverse needs of individuals and communities

Job Description:

  • Explore and utilize design methods and emerging technologies for health conditions across different stages
  • Critically engage with stage-based health conditions and their relations with social, cultural, and temporal contexts
  • Collaborate transdisciplinarily with patients, caregivers, medical professionals, and relevant communities
  • Provide a holistic understanding of stage-based health conditions to inform design approaches
