Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree in industrial design, interaction design, human-computer interaction, biomedical engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in English (Dutch proficiency is an asset)
- Ability to critically engage with design methods, emerging technologies, and diverse stakeholder perspectives
- Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for transdisciplinary collaboration
- Self-directed learner with sensitivity to diverse needs of individuals and communities
Job Description:
- Explore and utilize design methods and emerging technologies for health conditions across different stages
- Critically engage with stage-based health conditions and their relations with social, cultural, and temporal contexts
- Collaborate transdisciplinarily with patients, caregivers, medical professionals, and relevant communities
- Provide a holistic understanding of stage-based health conditions to inform design approaches
