Postdoctoral Position in Dosage Compensation: The recently established research group “Developmental Regulation of Gene Dosage” is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to investigate the regulation of X-linked genes in mice. This research aims to enhance our understanding of dosage compensation in mammals through in vivo and ex vivo systems, focusing on developmental and molecular consequences of abnormal X-linked expression.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Life Sciences
- Strong interest in molecular genetics, genomics, and developmental biology
- Preferred experience in mammalian development and/or embryonic models (training provided if necessary)
- Self-driven, organized, and able to work in a team
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English
Job Description:
The successful candidate will:
- Conduct experiments related to the regulation of X-linked gene expression in mouse development
- Participate in defining the research strategy and contributing to research dissemination
- Supervise students and analyze research results
- Collaborate within a multicultural, dynamic research team
Terms of Employment:
This is an ERC-funded, one-year contract, renewable up to three years, with a start date between February and June 2025. Salary ranges from €2990 to €4166 EUR (gross), with applicable taxes between 25-31%. The selected candidate will be encouraged to apply for additional postdoctoral fellowships.
