Eligibility/Qualification

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electronic or Electrical Engineering, or a similar field.
  • Doctoral-level research experience in quantum information with a PhD or equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge of techniques and tools in the area of quantum networking and continuous variable quantum information.
  • Understanding of network routing methods.
  • Experience in writing research work for publication.
  • Highly developed communication skills for effective engagement with a diverse audience.

Job Description

The post is specifically focused on the following duties:

  • Conducting research in quantum networking for the IQN Hub and contributing to research publications.
  • Identifying and developing research proposals for collaborative projects and independent research.
  • Interacting with research and industrial partners within the IQN Hub.
  • Conducting individual and collaborative research projects, including data analysis, research methodology application, and result dissemination.
  • Preparing research proposals for funding applications.
  • Organizing various administrative activities related to the research project.
  • Fostering collaborative working both internally and externally, including building contacts and identifying opportunities for collaboration.
  • Guiding other staff and students, and coordinating small research teams’ work.
