Research Area

Job Description
The selected candidate will work under the “Electrocatalytic Interface Engineering” department, led by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Simon Thiele, and the “Membrane Polymer Synthesis” (MPS) team, led by Dr. Jochen Kerres. Key responsibilities include:
- Researching, synthesizing, and analyzing anion-conducting polymers.
- Developing and characterizing alkaline membranes for renewable energy applications.
- Publishing research findings in relevant journals and presenting them at national/international conferences.
This project is highly interdisciplinary and targets the energy transition by innovating in key technologies for hydrogen-based energy systems.
