Postdoctoral Researcher – Perovskite Solar Cells: Forschungszentrum Jülich is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to investigate charge-extraction and recombination losses at the interfaces of perovskite solar cells. Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related disciplines.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in perovskite solar cell fabrication and characterization.
  • Proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a research team.
  • High motivation to engage in innovative research and development of new ideas.

Job Description:

  • Conduct manual and semi-automated fabrication of perovskite films, layer stacks, and devices utilizing insulating layers at the interfaces.
  • Characterize device performance through optoelectronic small-perturbation measurements and transient photoluminescence measurements.
  • Analyze data and estimate parameters through analytical models and drift-diffusion simulations.
  • Supervise and mentor PhD and Master’s students as needed.
  • Actively contribute to research discussions, project planning, and reporting.
