Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in Materials Science, Material Mechanics, or Production Engineering (degree should not be older than three years).
- Strong background in sinter-based metal additive manufacturing and sintering simulation.
- Expertise in sintering process development, materials characterization, inorganic chemistry, microscopy, and simulation of sintering processes.
- Teaching and project management skills with potential for research and education.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English.
Job Description
- Conduct independent research as part of the PMAM (Powder Metallurgy and Additive Manufacturing) group.
- Develop and implement multi-material sinter-based AM processes within the WISE Research Technology Platform.
- Coordinate research projects and collaborate with academia, industry, and society.
- Supervise academic and industrial users of the sinter-based infrastructure.
- Contribute to teaching at undergraduate and master levels.
Contract Terms
- Full-time temporary employment for up to two years.
