Research Area:

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • A recently completed or close to completed Master’s degree in relevant fields.
  • Interest and preferably experience in education-related research.
  • Demonstrated experience with both quantitative (data science, statistics) and qualitative (interviews, thematic analysis) research methods.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (C1 level).
  • Motivation to develop teaching skills and coach students.

Job Description:

The PhD candidate will:

  • Engage in co-designing explanation and control interfaces for educational stakeholders.
  • Create and evaluate educational technology interfaces based on human-centred design principles.
  • Conduct studies in lab and classroom settings to measure impacts on understanding, trust, learning, and motivation.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across the university and beyond.
