Research Area

The focus of this research project is on developing computational methods to analyze crystallographic data and model electronic structures in complex materials exhibiting electronic disorder.

Description

Candidates will be engaged in developing novel computational frameworks for understanding and predicting the structures of crystalline materials with electronic disorder. The work will involve:

  • Creating code for processing diffuse scattering data
  • Performing Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations
  • Developing coarse-grained models for large-scale atomic simulations

How to Apply

Interested candidates should submit their applications through the online application portal at ETH Zurich, including the following documents:

  • Curriculum vitae
  • Complete academic transcripts (undergraduate and graduate courses)
  • Copies of diplomas/certificates
  • Contact information of 2-3 potential referees
  • A short description of research interests

Note: Applications submitted via email or postal services will not be considered.
