Research Area

Eligibility/Qualification

  • Must possess a second-cycle level degree or equivalent with a minimum of 240 ECTS credits, including 120 ECTS in physics.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • A strong background in one or more relevant fields: Space Physics, Plasma Physics, Astrophysics, Engineering Physics, Computational Physics, Electrodynamics, Statistical Physics, or Fluid Dynamics.
  • Documented experience in data analysis and programming (e.g., Python, Matlab, C/C++).

Job Description

The successful candidate will:

  • Conduct research using advanced hybrid-kinetic plasma models.
  • Analyze data from spacecraft missions to understand Mercury’s magnetosphere dynamics.
  • Collaborate with international research institutions.
  • Participate in relevant coursework and departmental duties.
