Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences or a related field.
- Interest in biomarkers, proteomics/metabolomics, biobanks & collections, and/or pre-analytical processing.
- Knowledge of bioinformatics is a plus.
- Good command of spoken and written Dutch and English.
- Preferably knowledge of laws and regulations regarding the use of body materials for research.
Description
As a PhD candidate, you will:
- Develop quality standards for body materials within the Health-RI project.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research in proteomics/metabolomics.
- Test biomaterials for their usability in cardiovascular disease biomarker research.
- Publish research findings in international peer-reviewed journals.
- Present your research at national and international conferences.
