Eligibility/Qualification
- Applicants must be doctoral candidates without a previously held doctoral degree.
- A master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Electrochemistry, Chemistry, Environmental Technology, or a related field is required.
- Advanced English proficiency is essential, with certification necessary.
- Candidates should not have resided or worked in Belgium for more than 12 months in the past three years.

Description
The selected candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Deepak Pant at VITO and collaborate with renowned professors from UAB and UniMiB. This scholarship offers a gross salary of approximately €3270/month plus allowances for mobility and family (if applicable). The research involves designing metal-based gas diffusion electrodes and developing tubular electrodes for microbial electrosynthesis and hydrogen generation.
