Eligibility / Qualification:

  • PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Genomic Biology, or a closely related discipline (or equivalent research).
  • Candidates near completion of their PhD may be appointed as Research Assistants with a salary range of £43,003 – £46,297 per annum.
  • Industry or commercial experience is also considered.
  • Expertise in single cell and spatial transcriptomics, computational biology, and a range of laboratory techniques is required.
  • Experience in writing research papers for publication is necessary.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing single cell and spatial transcriptomics of human cardiac samples.
  • Leading computational analysis and integrating data with clinical metadata and proteomics.
  • Contributing to high scientific and technical excellence and the successful performance of the team.
  • Writing reports and manuscripts, as well as presenting research at internal and external conferences.

You will work closely with the Noseda team and collaborators, including Prof. Manuel Mayr (Imperial) and Prof. Thomas Treibel (UCL).
