Description

The project aims to investigate the structure, dynamics, and function of glycans and their interactions with proteins, lipid membranes, and polymer materials. Key focuses include research on bacterial glycans and lipopolysaccharides (LPS), with emphasis on developing innovative functionalization methods for implant coatings that reduce bacterial attachment. The Ph.D. project will leverage cutting-edge molecular simulations, optimization-driven computational approaches, and machine learning applications. Research will be conducted in collaboration with multiple experimental groups across Europe and is supported by the Czech Science Foundation.

Additional benefits include performance-based bonuses and funding for international mobility and conference attendance.
