Job Description
The selected researcher will be engaged in the following activities:
- Characterizing alkaline metal-ion batteries through ion beam analysis (IBA).
- Investigating the evolution of Li and Na depth profiles during battery operation.
- Analyzing charge-discharge kinetics and mechanisms responsible for capacity fading.
- Studying alkaline-ion losses and cyclability degradation.
- Contributing to the setup of scientific equipment for cycling batteries under conditions compatible with the ion accelerator for operando measurements.
- Assisting other groups with postmortem measurements of battery components.
