Eligibility / Qualification
- A second-cycle degree or equivalent qualifications, including a minimum of 240 higher education credits, with at least 60 credits in the second cycle.
- Relevant knowledge in research and experience in microfluidic technology or bioanalysis is an advantage.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
Description
The research focuses on developing microfluidic analysis platforms and testing nucleic acid extraction and amplification methods for detecting NTDs like schistosomiasis and leishmaniasis. The successful applicant will collaborate with health clinics in Kenya to implement and test the devices. Candidates should demonstrate analytical and creative thinking, initiative, independence, and the ability to collaborate.
