Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting experimental human trials involving exercise and nutritional modulation, including the collection of biological samples (muscle and blood). The research will involve:
- Assessing anabolic/autophagic signaling
- Analyzing gene expression
- Investigating protein-protein interactions
- Evaluating enzyme colocalization
Other responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate records of research conducted
- Analyzing results using appropriate statistical methods
- Collaborating with other investigators and students
- Preparing research findings for publication
- Assisting with research grant applications
- Participating in group seminars and meetings
The candidate will have access to advanced facilities in both the Department of Sport and Exercise Sciences and the Department of Life Sciences, along with collaboration opportunities at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research in Copenhagen.
