Description

The project aims to develop recycled concrete using nanotechnology to enhance its properties such as bonding, microstructure, and thermal performance. The research seeks to unlock insights into the production of few-layer graphene from graphite and the effects of hybrid nano-reinforcement. Targets include establishing sustainable building materials that significantly lower energy demands for heating and cooling in buildings, ultimately contributing to cost savings in the construction sector.

How to Apply

  1. Review the eligibility criteria: Prepare a document detailing how you meet the project’s requirements.
  2. Contact the lead researcher: Email Professor Vivian Tam at v.tam@westernsydney.edu.au to discuss your eligibility and express your interest.
  3. Submit your application: Log into the Online Portal and select ‘Project Scholarship’. Note that you do not need a separate application for Doctor of Philosophy or Research Scholarship.
