Eligibility/Qualifications
- PhD degree or expected completion soon in materials science, nanotechnology, polymer science, electrochemistry, analytical chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Strong background in functional polymer synthesis, material fabrication techniques (microfluidics, fiber manufacturing, composite fabrication), or related areas.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Proven capability for independent research and collaboration.
- Demonstrated ambition for academic career advancement.
Job Description
- Conduct research focused on the development of novel materials and sensors for e-textiles aimed at health monitoring.
- Stay updated with relevant literature while exploring and presenting new research ideas.
- Generate high-quality publications and contribute to the overall research objectives.
- Lead research projects with the support of students, ensuring adherence to protocols and goals.
- Engage in grant writing and assist in training BSc/MSc students in the lab.
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary environment to foster innovative solutions in health technology.
