Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
- Interest in interdisciplinary research.
- Applied experience with machine/deep learning methods.
- Ability to manage multiple projects within a dynamic environment.
- Strong interest in medical and/or biological issues.
Description
Candidates are expected to conduct independent and collaborative research, contribute to publications, participate in grant writing, and support the supervision of students and junior researchers. The program offers unique access to experimental and clinical data, advanced resources, and networking opportunities in Munich’s vibrant AI landscape.
The positions are for a fixed term of 2 years, with potential salary grade eligibility up to E 13 based on qualifications. Social benefits are aligned with the Collective Wage Agreement for Public-Sector Employees (TVöD).
