Research Area
The research focuses on developing model-based super-resolution reconstruction methods for high-resolution ASL MRI, aimed at quantifying cerebral blood flow (CBF). Both physics-based models and physics-informed deep learning approaches will be explored.
Eligibility / Qualification
- Master’s degree in biomedical engineering, physics, or a related field

- Experience in magnetic resonance imaging is highly valued
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python)
Description
As a PhD student, you will actively work on preparing and defending a doctoral thesis in the field of quantitative ASL MRI. Responsibilities include publishing scientific articles, presenting research findings at conferences, and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams at imec-Vision Lab and Bio-Imaging Lab. You will have access to state-of-the-art computing and imaging infrastructure.
