Desirable Experience | Candidate must possess extensive knowledge and experience in the preparation of nanomaterials based optical sensors. Preferably carbon-dots based fluorescence sensors. The above should be reflected from original publications of the candidate. |
Job/Position Description-
Research Associate-I (RA-I) under the sponsored research project of the Ministry of Coal, Govt. of India
Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Research Associate-I (RAI) to work on a research project titled āCoal to Chemical Sensors: Conversion of low-grade coal to carbon dots-based smart sensing strips for on-site monitoring of heavy metals in water bodies around the coal fieldsā funded by Ministry of Coal, Govt. of India (CMPDI/S&T/CU-64). Job Description | The selected candidate has to work on the development of carbon-dots based optical sensors for the analysis of heavy metals at NIT Srinagar (J&K). The role involves periodic field visits to BCCL Dhanbad (Jharkhand) for coal and water sample collection and may require temporary stays at NIT Jamshedpur for analytical work. |
Shortlisting Criteria | The candidates will be shortlisted based on desirable experience related to the project. Fulfilling the basic eligibility does not guarantee shortlisting. |
Monthly Emolument | ā¹ 69,600 (ā¹ 58,000 + 20% HRA) |
