Eligibility/Qualification
- MSc degree in Earth Sciences, Marine Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience and affinity with biogeochemistry and marine research.
- Strong interest in chemical laboratory work and data analysis.
- Open, communicative, and collaborative attitude.
- Strong communication skills in English.
Description
The successful candidate will investigate the chemical and biological processes responsible for calcium carbonate precipitation in foraminifers, focusing on their interaction with marine inorganic carbon chemistry (seawater pCO2, pH, saturation, etc.). The position requires active participation in data collection during sea-going expeditions, analysis in laboratories, and dissemination of findings through publications and presentations.
