Description:
The successful candidate will participate in the STB program (Shallow Water Processes and Transitions to the Baltic Scale) at IOW, focusing on quantifying nitrous oxide (N2O) fluxes within shallow coastal ecosystems. Responsibilities include conducting seasonal surveys, high-resolution water column profiling, multifactorial incubation experiments, and collaborating closely with various research partners. This position aims to build a comprehensive understanding of N2O production mechanisms and the broader greenhouse gas balance in these systems.
