Eligibility/Qualification
Minimum Qualifications:
- PhD in molecular biology of plants or fungi, genomics, or a related field.

- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in genomic library preparation.
- Background working with filamentous fungi.
- Proficiency in command line bioinformatic analysis.
- Familiarity with transcriptional regulation or epigenomics.
Job Description
The selected candidate will complete federally funded research as part of a project titled “The role of heterochromatin in regulating fungal infection and evolution.” The position will require collaboration within a team-focused environment utilizing both lab and computational methods.
