Eligibility / Qualification
- MSc (or nearly completed) in ecology, quantitative biology, environmental science, applied statistics, or a closely related field.
- Strong computational skills and familiarity with population ecology concepts.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Valid European driving license is preferred.
- Experience with ecological fieldwork and/or handling and ringing birds is an advantage.
Job Description
- Conduct and help organize demographic fieldwork.
- Build, validate, and document a spatially explicit Integrated Population Model (IPM).
- Integrate multi-source data relating to chick growth, predation, and habitat selection.
- Design and analyze management scenarios in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Write scientific papers and present at conferences and project meetings.
- Contribute to teaching undergraduate and master students (maximum 10% of time).
