Eligibility/Qualification

  • Excellent academic track record in Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from a reputable university.
  • Strong analytical skills and competence in systems implementation.
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols and distributed systems.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Candidates must comply with the international mobility requirement; specifically, they should not have resided or worked in the Netherlands for more than 12 months in the past three years.

Job Description

Engage in transformative research by:

  • Developing autonomous systems that can self-organize, self-optimize, and self-heal.
  • Tackling challenges in edge computing, network orchestration, and distributed intelligence.
  • Building real systems and working with network transport protocols.
  • Deploying systems on cutting-edge infrastructure and validating performance through Internet-scale measurements.
  • Contributing to several open-source projects, including Kubernetes and Oakestra.
