Eligibility / Qualification
Mandatory Requirements
- PhD (or equivalent foreign degree) in Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering (completed by employment decision).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Several years of experience in organic synthesis and electrosynthesis.
- Hands-on experience with analytical characterization tools (NMR, LCMS, GCMS).
- Familiarity with teaching and demonstrated potential in research and education.
Desirable / Preferred Experience
- PhD obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline.
- Strong publication record in electrosynthesis in peer-reviewed journals.
- Proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
Job Description
- Fabricate, test, and evaluate polymeric semiconductor electrodes for electroorganic synthesis.
- Benchmark electrode performance in terms of activity, selectivity, and long-term stability for oxidative and reductive transformations.
- Collaborate closely with the materials chemistry subgroup to guide the design of next-generation electrodes.
- Supervise Master’s and/or PhD students and lead the electrochemistry subgroup activities.
- Opportunity to participate in undergraduate and master’s level teaching.
