Eligibility / Qualification

Mandatory Requirements

  • PhD (or equivalent foreign degree) in Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering (completed by employment decision).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Several years of experience in organic synthesis and electrosynthesis.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical characterization tools (NMR, LCMS, GCMS).
  • Familiarity with teaching and demonstrated potential in research and education.

Desirable / Preferred Experience

  • PhD obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline.
  • Strong publication record in electrosynthesis in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

Job Description

  • Fabricate, test, and evaluate polymeric semiconductor electrodes for electroorganic synthesis.
  • Benchmark electrode performance in terms of activity, selectivity, and long-term stability for oxidative and reductive transformations.
  • Collaborate closely with the materials chemistry subgroup to guide the design of next-generation electrodes.
  • Supervise Master’s and/or PhD students and lead the electrochemistry subgroup activities.
  • Opportunity to participate in undergraduate and master’s level teaching.
