Eligibility/Qualification
- A PhD degree in governance studies, criminology, cyber security, or a related field.
- Demonstrable research experience in governance of cyber security.
- A growing publication record showcasing outstanding research qualities.
- Experience with research-led teaching is advantageous.
- A passion for education, with a commitment to fostering an interdisciplinary academic community.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch is considered an asset.
Job Description
The successful candidate will:
- Conduct independent and collaborative research on (cyber) crisis management and governance of cyber crime.
- Collect and analyze data related to cyber security governance.
- Produce high-quality academic outputs for international peer-reviewed journals.
- Work in a multidisciplinary team, supporting the development and implementation of the Institute’s research strategy.
- Teach various courses within the institute, including the MSc in Crisis and Security Management.
- Supervise student thesis and capstone projects.
