Postdoctoral Researcher/Research Assistant: The Kamoun Lab at The Sainsbury Laboratory (TSL) is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher or research assistant to join our team. The focus of this position is on plant immune receptors and their application to improving crop disease resistance, particularly through the study of nucleotide-binding leucine-rich repeat (NLR) proteins and their interactions with pathogen virulence effectors.

Eligibility/Qualification
- A PhD in Plant Biology, Molecular Biology, or related fields for Postdoctoral position.
- Relevant research experience for Research Assistant position.
- Demonstrable skills in molecular biology, cell biology, computational biology, structural biology, and genomics.
Job Description
- Take ownership of defined research projects within the Kamoun Lab portfolio.
- Design and execute experiments that address fundamental and applied questions in plant immunity.
- Collaborate with lab members to integrate various scientific approaches.
- Contribute to the dissemination of research via publications, presentations, and engagement with collaborators.
