Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Deep expertise in system-level design and functional hardware/software prototyping
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, especially for embedded platforms
  • Proven track record of publications in top-tier journals and conferences

Job Description

The candidate will engage in the design, prototyping, and validation of intelligent embedded systems utilizing novel sensors, such as event-based cameras, optical flow sensors, ultra-wideband technology, depth cameras, and low-power radars. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct research on embedded machine learning techniques, particularly attention-based models.
  • Explore neuromorphic computing and its deployment on digital and neuromorphic processors.
  • Investigate TinyML, Edge AI, and ultra-low-power inference methods.
  • Contribute to teaching embedded systems and associated concepts to students.
  • Support and supervise PhD students and lab activities.
  • Prepare research proposals and grant applications; lead high-impact publications.
