Eligibility / Qualification

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • PhD in Molecular Biology, Plant Biology, Genomics, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of molecular biology techniques.
  • Experience in functional genomics.
  • Good understanding of plant chromatin biology and epigenetics.
  • Knowledge of genetics will be considered an advantage.
  • Highly motivated, curious, and collaborative researcher with strong analytical skills.

Job Description

The selected candidate will work on a research project investigating epigenomic changes in plants in response to environmental conditions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing new molecular tools for chromatin analysis, particularly single-locus chromatin profiling (reverse ChIP).
  • Investigating how epigenomic landscapes change throughout the year and how these variations contribute to plant environmental adaptation.
  • Conducting functional genomics and molecular biology experiments related to chromatin structure and gene regulation.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary research teams at IBMP.
  • Contributing to scientific publications and presentations.
