Location
Various positions are primarily based at Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) and the University of Bayreuth, with some requiring frequent travel between locations.
Eligibility/Qualification
- A relevant Ph.D. degree in Earth sciences, climate science, ecology, geochemistry, biostatistics, or related fields.
- Experience in research, and a demonstrated capacity for teaching in relevant disciplines.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills tailored to the respective research projects.
Job Description
The selected candidates will engage in cutting-edge research and contribute to teaching in their respective domains. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting innovative research.
- Publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals.
- Teaching and developing course materials.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
- Supporting student learning and project coordination (for the Program Coordinator position).
