Eligibility/Qualification

Required Qualifications

  • PhD or MD with a strong background in retinoid biology, vitamin A metabolism, nuclear receptor signaling, or closely related fields.
  • Strong experience in molecular and cellular biology, animal models, or relevant omics technologies.
  • Evidence of scientific productivity and strong potential for independent research.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with transcriptional regulation, nuclear receptor biology, or vitamin A transport pathways.
  • Familiarity with single-cell methods, metabolomics, or lipidomics.
  • Interest in translational research, inflammation biology, or pancreatitis.

Job Description

  • Lead and execute innovative mechanistic studies related to retinoid biology and pancreatitis.
  • Design and interpret data from genetic models, organ physiology, and omics experiments.
  • Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects, including translational studies with human cohorts.
  • Prepare manuscripts for high-impact journals and present findings at scientific conferences.
  • Promote grant submissions and develop future independent research directions.
  • The position supports publication, conference travel, and postdoctoral career development.
