Eligibility/Qualification
- A five-year master’s degree in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Energy Systems
- Power Engineering
- Control and Systems Engineering
- Mathematics and Physics
- Minimum of B grade for both the master’s thesis and the overall degree.
- Applicants graduating in spring 2026 are welcome.
- Preference for applicants with experience in:
- Optimisation and operations research
- AI/machine learning applications
- Digital twin concepts
- Programming skills in Python, MATLAB, or relevant simulation tools.
Job Description
- Develop methods for enhancing grid resilience through autonomous islanding and management of energy resources.
- Engage in physical modeling and simulation.
- Collaborate with national and international research partners.
- Prepare a project plan summarizing the applicant’s understanding and approach to the research challenges.
