Job Description:

The candidate will be engaged in designing, analyzing, and implementing numerical algorithms to address parabolic PDEs, focusing on:

  • Space-time finite element methods (FEM) and boundary element methods (BEM).
  • Development of a-posteriori computable estimators for adaptation of mesh refinement.
  • Validation through numerical experiments and theoretical proof of convergence.
