Eligibility/Qualification

  • General Entry Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (computer science, image analysis, machine learning, etc.)
  • 240 credits in higher education, including at least 60 credits at Master’s level.
  • Specific Requirements:
  • Minimum of 90 higher education credits in image analysis and machine learning.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Creativity, thoroughness, structured problem-solving approaches, and good collaborative skills.

Job Description

  • The PhD student will primarily focus on graduate education and will have the opportunity to engage in teaching and administrative duties (up to 20%).
  • Develop algorithms and methods to train AI models using limited and heterogeneous multimodal data.
  • Collaborate with healthcare and biomedicine partners to detect cancer from samples and predict optimal treatments.
